Restricted hours for accessing luggage added inconvenience to the stay, especially having to remove all belongings from the capsule during cleaning times. The requirement of storing shoes in a box and wearing flimsy slippers was awkward, making it a hassle to go in and out of the room. Full nudity during shared showers might not be comfortable for everyone, and that could be off-putting for travelers not accustomed to such customs.

Conveniently located near Ueno Station, the capsules offered excellent cleanliness. However, the mattress felt a bit hard during my stay.

A cozy retreat in the city

The spacious capsule was a lovely escape, and the onsen experience truly rejuvenated me after exploring Tokyo all day. The staff were friendly, always ready with a warm smile.

However, the locker setup in the capsule felt a bit cramped, making it a little challenging to keep my belongings organized. Plus, the shared showers could be an adjustment for those not used to such customs.

I expected to be treated like royalty, but received a capsule with thin mattresses and poor ventilation instead. The showers downstairs are a major inconvenience. Additionally, I should’ve received a complimentary drink due to my inconvenience, but clearly, that’s not how they treat guests here. I almost would’ve given a good review, but I simply couldn’t.

I loved the cozy capsule and how close it was to the station. The facilities were clean, and there was a nice public bath with a sauna. The lounge area was spacious, and the vending machine for milk was a fun touch. Great value for the price! 😊

The capsules are surprisingly spacious, making the experience feel more like a high-end dorm than a typical capsule hotel. The cleanliness throughout the facilities stands out, from the communal areas to the shared bath, which provided comfort after a long day. However, accessing the showers requires going downstairs, which might be inconvenient for some. Additionally, the storage for luggage isn't as user-friendly as expected, and there are strict cleaning hours that necessitate moving belongings frequently.

Solo traveler delight

The location is a major win! Right near the station and close to the buzz of Ameyoko street,, it makes getting around super easy. The cleanliness was off the charts, comparable to high-end hotels. I got to use the laundry facilities which were a lifesaver after days of travel!

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive,, but it’s a fair trade for the quality.
